Klectik029 sees Rojii deliver his debut EP for the Chicago label. The release starts off with, “Celee” an effective stripped down dj friendly number that gets on with percussion and a hypnotic synth riff that churns through the track. The title track, “Rewind” rips about with it’s arpeggiated synth riff and minimal percussion elements before introducing an emotive melody in the last third of the track. First up on remix duties is label head, Jason Patrick, who delivers a trippy hypnotizing take of “Rewind” reworking elements of the original with new synthesizer parts. Closing out the EP is a remix from, FBK, who puts forth a pumping rework of “Celee” that effectively combines polyrhythmic sequences of the originals sounds plus additional elements in a classic techno fashion sure to get the floor moving.
